In a short while we are going to see some new devices being unveiled by Cupertino but while there is a lot of anticipation leading up to this event, some are already speculating about devices that will be coming out next year. Word on the street is that Apple will release a new 12-inch retina MacBook. This is apparently going to happen between the second or the third quarter of 2014.

The story originally broke out from a website called 9to5mac. A KGI analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the Cupertino tech giant is going to release a new 12 inch MacBook.
According to the report, the new device will sport a completely new design. There was no mention of whether this will be a MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air or if this might also be a completely new product line.
Aside from the MacBook rumour there are also whispers about Apple probably releasing a lower costing iMac and as well as an iPad with a significantly better resolution than what is currently being offered. The report suggests that in the next iteration of the iPad, there may be 30 to 40% more pixels per inch than in the current version.
Only Apple knows what it has in store for next year, but what we can say is that the Kuo does have a track record of making pretty decent predictions about these type of things. Nevertheless we will just have to wait and see for what comes out.
